Physical Education : 6th Grade Basketball/Dribble Unit

Here is  a unit plan for 6th grade students taking Physical Education. In this unit plan students will continue learning the basics to dribbling a basketball while adding onto the defenders role. They will begin learning to share the ball and how to react to defenders as well. Students will begin to play the actual game of basketball starting out with smaller teams and building up to the 5 vs 5. These lessons provide mini games, and activities that are connected to the skill they learned that lesson as well.
