About This Lesson

Students learn the difference between a fixed and growth mindset. Then they create a poster board that details -using pictures and graphics from magazines- what qualities they want to change about themselves and what their future goals are.

Loved the lesson, as well as the explanation of the differences between fixed and growth mindset. I wish I had this information years ago. I am going to try to adjust this lesson to my fifth graders at the beginning of the year.

Another excellent lesson by kerflasko. There is no doubt that you are an exemplary teacher. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and being the model I so needed to continue my growth as a teacher. I have asked for this level of assistance from administration and fellow peers without support nor guided response. Your generosity is supplying the answers I am seeking. To experience your excellence in your classroom would be a gift.
