Reinforcing Students’ SEL Competencies Through a Restorative Justice Mindset

Sarah Zurbuchen is Senior Director of WE Schools, a program empowering teachers and students to address critical social issues in their classrooms and communities, all while building the key social and emotional skills to be future-ready, confident global citizens.  For the past decade, Sarah has also been a  passionate mental health advocate in her local community, while serving in various Board of Director roles with the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Bushra Ul-Haq is the Director of Educational Programs and Resources at WE. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where she received a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Education. She has been an elementary school teacher, and she has designed educational programs for international organizations. Bushra is passionate about the work she gets to do developing educational programs and designing curricula at WE.
