Ujjayi breathing is a technique that allows you to calm your mind by focusing on your breath. Join Eleanor Harris, a classroom teacher in the Austin (Texas) Independent School District, and a health and fitness professional, for a virtual demonstration of the yin element—four techniques to help you become aware of inhalation and exhalation, calm the nervous system and energize the body.
Participants should have a space where they can lie down on the floor, or a space near a wall to sit, and a blanket or towel. Those with physical limitations should sit in a chair. All levels of experience are welcome.
