In response to school closures due to COVID-19, the Washington Teachers' Union has teamed up with Fox 5 Plus in order to deliver lessons to students directly from their television or computer. This fourth and fifth grade lesson aired on April 8, 2020, and includes a lesson on how to calculate impact and a lesson on persuasive and opinion writing.
