An examination of Fahrenheit 451, a novel by Ray Bradbury, through the lens of the power of reading.
The novel is taught in conjunction with non-fiction texts analyzing the power of the written word and why reading is fundamental to a life well lived. Further, literary techniques of imagery, conflict, characterization, and irony are analyzed and applied. The unit is composed of twelve lessons and a unit final exam. The lessons are presented in PPTX format and Google Doc for short answer and short essay responses.
