In response to school closures due to COVID-19, the Washington Teachers' Union has teamed up with Fox 5 Plus in order to deliver lessons to students directly from their television or computer. This fourth and fifth grade lesson aired on April 1, 2020, and includes a section over strategies for reading fiction and nonfiction text as well as a visual art activity.

Part 1: 6 habits of good readers: following the weekly learning plan and other text

Part 2: Visual Art with a Math Component.
