This lesson introduces the topic of inclusion by way of a Dr. Seuss allegory, The Sneetches. Students connect the story with their life experiences and discuss the consequences of making assumptions about others based on external differences. This lesson can be incorporated into a language arts unit to develop reading comprehension and critical thinking.
