About This Lesson
In this phonics video lesson, students practice writing the letter h while learning the sound that it makes. They also preview the multi-letter phonograms where h works together with other letters to make different sounds. Then, they write a passage from the Mother Goose rhyme, “Little Jack Horner.”
This goes way beyond just teaching the sound of letter h. It also teaches all the multi-letter phonograms with the letter h, like ph, rh, gh, tch, igh, ah, sh, wh, th and ch.
