Children work in pairs or small groups. They have to estimate then measure a variety of objects. The nearest to their estimate wins a counter.

A very useful template to give to your class for measuring the length of objects. The added stimuli of winning counters is good too! This resource is editable which is useful. Thanks for sharing.

A super resource / idea ...will be very useful in my Measure topic this block .NB I have added Name and partner's name at bottom and date at the top as My class always forget this ! and moved the split word "object2 together. The grid will be a super res
