About This Lesson

This is lesson 3 of an 8 lesson unit on decimals. By the end of this lesson, students will be able to round any number to any place asked. Students will understand that rounded numbers end in zeroes, however we don’t always have to write the zeroes with decimals. Aligned to Common Core State Standard: 5.NBT.4
