In this lesson, special needs students will be able to describe the book Red Scarf Girl as a memoir by completing a (drawing conclusions or attributes analysis) Graphic organizer. We created this differentiated lesson plan for special needs students who are mainstreamed in the general education setting.

This seems to be a very difficult lesson for SpEd population. There is only audio available, not video. The powerpoint has some fuzzy pictures. Some might find it helpful for factual reference.
